The SeaCoast platform, launched by ShoreView with the support of Move On, OK Group’s Venture Capital, has been created with the aim of becoming a true revolution in coastal navigation for all sea lovers.
Led by ShoreView CEO José Manuel Arnaiz, the SeaCoast ecosystem consists of a series of applications that use augmented reality to help boaters identify what’s ahead of them, reducing problems during coastal navigation.
It has three distinct tools for this purpose. The ShoreView virtual assistant, which shows the user in real time what they see and what they do not see; the PortView application which, supported by Ports 4.0, allows the user to manage everything to do with the process of mooring boats and which has audio assistance; and the PaperBoat tool, which helps in booking mooring in the port from anywhere in the world in real time.
The SeaCoast ecosystem also encourages the sharing of information between users in such a way that it is possible to obtain tokens that can then be used on maps. It is a free platform, which aims to become an interactive map of the sea.
