The Othman Ktiri Foundation has launched a campaign selling reusable cups with two main objectives: firstly, collaborating with the NGO Aldeas Infantiles SOS, and secondly, raising awareness of reduction of plastic consumption.
The Foundation consolidates OK Group’s commitment to society through the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility projects which seek to help the most disadvantaged groups. With this action, the funds raised from the sale of the cups will be allocated to Aldeas Infantiles SOS, specifically to its Palma de Mallorca Day Centre.
It is an international non-profit entity whose mission is to help children and young people in vulnerable situations, promoting their development and autonomy. In the case of the Palma Day Centre, Aldeas Infantiles SOS carries out various preventive programmes in which it works with children and families at social risk, offering them appropriate social-educational and therapeutic intervention, as well as promoting strategies which improve their personal, family and social wellbeing.
With this campaign, the Foundation also takes a further step in its concern for the environment and for sustainable development, encouraging the use of reusable cups, thereby reducing the generation of plastic and waste.
