OK Rent a Car has received the “Safe Tourism” distinction from Spain’s Department of Industry, Trade and Tourism for ensuring that its offices comply with the health and safety protocols established for the tourism industry. This distinction has been awarded to our offices for complying with the “Guidelines for reducing infection from SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus within the tourism industry” – the only guidelines to be endorsed by Spain’s Department of Health.
Since this health crisis began, at OK Rent a Car we have adhered to the health and safety recommendations set by the WHO and the Spanish authorities and we guarantee that every one of our rental vehicles is clean to ensure our customers’ welfare.
Drawn up by the Secretary of State for Tourism along with industry representatives, social agents and the Autonomous Regions, and approved by Spain’s Department of Health, the “Guidelines for reducing infection from SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus within the tourism industry” contain specifications regarding service, cleaning and disinfection, maintenance and risk management for the different parts of the tourism industry.
We have now received this award from the government as a sign of our compliance with health and safety protocols which have enabled us to create a safe environment at all our offices – both for our customers and OK team-members.
