OK Mobility Group has ended August 2020 with a positive EBITDA of more than 9,8 million Euros and a consolidated profit of 5,8 million Euros, despite the difficult economic situation affecting national and international markets. This data was presented by the company’s CEO, Othman Ktiri, at the group’s headquarters to more than 80 representatives from Spain’s main banking and financial entities, during the OK Strategic & Financial Day, in a session which was also live-streamed.
During his presentation, our CEO also pointed out that during the first eight months of the year, OK Mobility Group invoiced 182 million Euros.
The division’s sales figure for business related to the purchase and sale of vehicles exceeded the 2019 equivalent. Regarding sales to private customers, 20% were made 100% online via the OKCARS.com website.
Due to travel restrictions, online billing for vehicle hire suffered a reduction. However, OK Rent a Car increased their market share, considering that the average for the vehicle hire sector had suffered reductions of more than 80%.
In addition, 38% of billing for this vehicle hire division was obtained via their direct channels such as okrentacar.es channel, and the call center.
Our company also continues to make progress in the digitalisation of processes, at both sales and operational level. The aim is to be more efficient and to continue offering all our customers a top quality service.
